Along with all mernakind, immortal creatures of human imagination, the Winged Ones have gone from being hunted for their divinely given magic, to surviving in the mundane world without it for better or worse, to escape extinction and enslavement.

While these oath-bound heroes attempt to keep the lord of all fae safe and alive, they are also trying to protect their friends, found family, and one another.

Meet Captain Five and Jiera, catshifters; Martigan and Bear, half-fae who started their lives as humans; Tuce, a changeling forever stuck with the appearance of a teenager; and GorGor, a werewolf.
