Johnny B thinks he has it all-glamour, celebrity friends, endless booze, mountains of cocaine, and a roomful of strippers every night.

The story opens in 2008 as JJohnny collapses in agony on the floor of the club where he works. Rushed to the hospital he needs immediate surgery-just as soon as the drugs and alcohol clear his system.

Then the story flashes back to the mid-1990s.

Johnny B is the hottest DJ in Los Angeles, working at CG’s, one of the decade’s most notorious strip clubs.  He rubs shoulders with Hollywood’s A-list actors, rock stars, gangsters, bikers, dealers, and hustlers. Part friend, part father figure, and part caretaker, Johnny becomes the unlikely anchor for an unpredictable family of beautiful dancers, keeping the club running while helping the women navigate everything from troubled relationships to addiction.
