The inner lands

Shams, the new yet fierce fighter of the Land of the Sun, is thrust into an uneasy alliance with the five fighters of the Inner Lands. Bound by necessity rather than trust, they must work together to prevent the looming catastrophe that threatens to consume their world.

But unity proves far more difficult than survival. The Inner Lands’ fighters refuse to see Shams as their equal, while Shams herself carries a burning resentment toward one of their realms—the very land she holds responsible for her mother’s death. As tensions rise and old wounds resurface, the group must decide whether their grudges matter more than the fate of the lands they are meant to protect.
