Michael Gorton

Michael Gorton is a natural born storyteller, and an award-winning author whose writing spans nonfiction, business strategy, and historical fiction. His books are grounded in the breakthroughs of tomorrow, filled with adventure, science, romance and ultimate questions about humanity and the universe. Michael founded 15 companies, including Teladoc, the world's largest telemedicine company, and a winner of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Michael was raised an Air Force brat, in a lower middle-class family that constantly moved around the world. He holds degrees in Engineering, Physics and Law, is a black belt in Shotokan and Kenpo, has run 18 marathons, and has climbed the highest point in 43 of the 50 US states.
