Ann Barratt

Ann Barratt spent fifteen years as a journalist and photographer, with work published across the globe. She told other people's stories for a living, but writing her own took a little longer.
When she's not writing, Ann runs one of the largest horse racing simulation games on the internet, owns a working off-track Thoroughbred farm in Tucson, Arizona, and runs a successful 501(c)(3) cat rescue with 750+ adoptions in five years. At any given moment, somewhere between 51 and 60 animals are depending on her.
She loves to travel but is terrified of flying. She loves having friends but is an introvert with a low social battery. She works from a custom-built library in her house, surrounded by over 1,300 books, and has preferred reading to television since she was old enough to have an opinion about it.
