Nicky Corcoran

Nicola Corcoran, born in 1961, raised a Catholic, the eldest daughter of six siblings to a self-employed builder and community care giver wife from a small village on the Wirral Peninsula, Cheshire.

I developed an interest in writing poetry as a hobby after being given a project at school about countries of which my grandfather, Ned Corcoran, who had been all around the world in the Royal British Navy during the Second World War had helped me to write, he was amazing!

After various jobs, I qualified as an NNEB in my early twenties and worked as a Health Care Assistant working in the community and in various other setting. I am still in employment in a care home for complex needs in Merseyside.

I am now an author of 3 books on Amazon ( Shine a Light, Don’t Look Down, and The Great Pandemic ).
Through these books I am willing to share my thoughts and knowledge and experiences of love and life.
