Melissa Owens is an award winning author who was born and raised in Oakland, Ca. She is a mother of a college graduate and works as a Full-time Case Manager/Mental Health Worker. Melissa works in her community supporting adults and Youth who are battling severe mental health and homelessness on a daily basis.
While Melissa was in the hospital battling Covid-19, she started a “Bucket list” and writing “3 books” was on the top of that list.
Melissa is Compassionate, enthusiastic and shows unconditional support towards anyone around her. She is truly dedicated to serving her community and also continuing growing as a mother, Author and a human being.
